Paul Ruane Joins Levin Management as Vice President of Property Management

Industry Professional Brings 35 Years of Experience to New Role


NORTH PLAINFIELD, N.J., June 9, 2015 – Levin Management, one of the nation's leading retail real estate services firms, has announced that Paul Ruane of Woodbridge, N.J., has joined the company as vice president of property management. The North Plainfield-based organization maintains a diverse 95-property, 13 million-square-foot shopping center portfolio primarily centered in the Northeast.

Ruane brings 35 years of diverse commercial property management experience to his new position, most recently as vice president of property management for WP Realty. At Levin, he is ensuring the delivery of the firm’s best-in-class service standards at each of its managed retail properties. This includes continually working toward improving operational and financial controls by promoting energy reduction, resource conservation and expense management. Ruane also oversees the Levin property management team’s training and professional development, which is focused on providing superior procedures, direction and support for clients and tenants.

Prior to joining WP Realty in 2006, Ruane worked with The Rubenstein Company, which was acquired by Brandywine Realty Trust. There, he successfully commissioned more than 2 million square feet of new corporate headquarters space, and retro-commissioned more than 1.5 million square feet of corporate headquarters and multi-tenanted office buildings.

Ruane is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and The Building Owners and Managers Association of Philadelphia, where he earned the Real Property Administrator designation. He chaired the Philadelphia Suburban Committee in 2004 and 2005, and served on the Board of Directors in Philadelphia between 1990 and 1993, and again from 2006 to 2009.
