Center Enjoying Success Following Levin Repositioning and Re-tenanting
VILLAGE OF PELHAM MANOR, N.Y., May 5, 2015 – The opening of national dining and entertainment chain Dave & Buster's at Post Road Plaza this spring marks another significant milestone in the transformation of this Westchester County shopping destination. As managing and leasing agent, Levin Management has taken major steps to reposition, re-tenant and redevelop the 260,000-square-foot property located in the Village of Pelham Manor.
In fact, the retail real estate services firm has directed more than $15 million in renovations to Post Road Plaza’s buildings and common areas. This included the reconfiguration of the property’s second floor space, which subsequently suited Dave & Buster’s 41,300-square-foot space requirement perfectly.
Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Dave & Buster’s provides guests the ultimate destination to “eat, drink, play and watch” all in one place. Venues offer a full menu of chef-crafted American cuisine ranging from appetizers to steaks, a selection of innovative cocktails, and over 170 of the latest and greatest games. Dave & Buster’s also features over 30 big screen HDTVs where guests can catch all of their favorite sporting events.

Located at the junction of U.S. 1, Pelham Parkway and the Hutchinson River Parkway, Post Road Plaza has re-emerged as one of the region’s most vibrant and successful retail destinations. The Levin leasing team successfully filled the property’s anchor space with a 75,000-square-foot Fairway Market supermarket, and enhanced the center’s retail mix with the addition of Marshall’s Shoes, HomeGoods, Lane Bryant and a free-standing Smashburger. Long-time tenants Modell’s and DressBarn expanded into new prototypes and several others renewed their commitments at the property. Two additional national tenants, Panera Bread and Sally Beauty Supply, also have come on board and are getting ready to open their doors at Post Road Plaza.
The renovation work also included an updated façade; innovative signage; and new lighting, paving and landscaping. “In conjunction with the Village, Levin’s goal was to improve the aesthetics of Post Road Plaza, attract quality tenants and rebrand this center to better serve the needs of the southern Westchester community,” said Harding. “Our renovation and modernization efforts have produced a magnificent result. The Dave & Buster’s opening turns the page to what is sure to be an exciting new chapter for this property.” Remaining availabilities include 3,000- and 16,088-square-foot ground-level units, and a 32,760-square-foot, upper-level retail space.
