Auto Parts and Accessories Retailer Leases 7,400 Sq.Ft. at Levin-Managed Center
MIDDLETOWN, Pa., Oct. 22, 2015 – Auto parts and accessories chain AutoZone has leased 7,400 square feet at Mid-Town Plaza in Middletown, Pa. The 95,000-square-foot shopping center is exclusively leased and managed by North Plainfield, N.J.-based Levin Management.
Levin leasing representative Jordan Korris negotiated the long-term lease. Eric Zamais of Zamais Services Inc. represented the tenant in the transaction.
Levin orchestrated the purchase of an underutilized parcel of land adjacent to the original Mid-Town Plaza site, where it constructed the new free-standing AutoZone store. “Convenient highway access and the presence of a Giant Supermarket made Mid-Town Plaza particularly attractive to this tenant,” said Korris. “A nationally recognized retailer such as AutoZone is a tremendous complement to the center’s co-tenancy, and also fills a void for consumers who live and work in this community.”
AutoZone is a leading retailer and a leading distributor of automotive replacement parts and accessories, with more than 5,000 stores in the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Brazil. Each store carries an extensive line for cars, sport utility vehicles, vans and light trucks, including new and remanufactured hard parts, maintenance items and accessories.
Located at 450 East Main Street, Mid-Town Plaza is a primary shopping destination within the growing central Pennsylvania marketplace. The center serves a residential population of more than 55,000 people within a five-mile radius. The marketplace offers an average household income of $80,000, and 28,000 vehicles per day travel along East Main Street/Route 230 East Harrisburg Pike. Anchored by a 59,000-square-foot Giant Supermarket, the center also includes Dollar Tree, Aaron’s and H&R Block.
Two spaces, of 3,500 and 4,800 square feet, remain available for lease at Mid-Town Plaza.
