Affordable Gym Chain Getting Ready to Open at Levin-Managed Center
JERSEY CITY, N.J., Oct. 30, 2015 – Affordable gym chain Retro Fitness – known for its low-cost, high-value fitness concept – is now taking pre-opening membership signups at Twin City Shopping Center in Jersey City. The 98,000-square-foot shopping center is exclusively leased and managed by North Plainfield, N.J.-based Levin Management.
Retro Fitness will open at Twin City in November. The temporary membership registration office is located onsite at the property, next door to the laundry mat.

Retro Fitness locations feature 60 to 75 pieces of cardio equipment with personal LCD television screens, three different types of circuit training equipment, the Retro Movie Theater, Retro Blends Juice Bar, group classes, personal training, child care, tanning and more.
Well-located at the Jersey City/Bayonne border on Garfield Avenue and West 55th Street, Twin City Shopping Center serves a growing residential population of more than 560,000 people within a five-mile radius. The marketplace offers an average household income of more than $93,000 and a daily traffic count of 35,000 vehicles. Retro Fitness joins a tenant mix that includes Twin City Supermarket, Everything $.99, Wendy’s and Dunkin Donuts, along with a host of typical neighborhood conveniences.
