Visionworks Now Open at Post Road Plaza in Pelham Manor, N.Y.

National Eyewear Retailer Joins Tenant Mix at Levin-Managed Center


VILLAGE OF PELHAM MANOR, N.Y., Nov. 3, 2015 – National eyewear retailer Visionworks recently celebrated the grand opening of a new 3,000-square-foot store at Post Road Plaza in the Village of Pelham Manor. Situated directly at the junction of U.S. 1, Pelham Parkway and the Hutchinson River Parkway, the 267,000-square-foot shopping center is exclusively leased and managed by North Plainfield, N.J.-based Levin Management.

Visionworks operates more than 660 optical retail stores in 41 states and the District of Columbia. All stores offer designer and exclusive brand frames, lenses, sunglasses and accessories along with leading technology in vision correction. Comprehensive service offerings include contact lens dispensing; in-store labs, which provide one-hour service on many prescriptions at many locations; and doctors of optometry at or next to every store.

Anchored by a 75,000-square-foot Fairway Market, the center’s tenants also include HomeGoods, Modell’s, Marshalls Shoes, Dress Barn, Lane Bryant, Citibank, Hallmark, Smashburger and GNC. Dining and entertainment chain Dave & Buster’s, and Sally Beauty Supply both recently opened at Post Road Plaza, soon to be joined by Panera Bread.

Post Road Plaza serves a growing residential population of nearly 411,500 people within a three-mile radius and nearly 1.2 million people within five miles of the property. The three-mile trade area offers an average household income of $72,000. Additionally, more than 82,000 vehicles pass the property per day on the Hutchinson River Parkway/Boston Post Road.
