Levin Secures Lease with Tropical Smoothie Café at Mayfair Shopping Center in Commack, N.Y.

Fast-Casual Café Joins Restaurant Mix at Suffolk County Retail Destination


COMMACK, N.Y., April 19, 2016 – Retail real estate services firm Levin Management has signed Tropical Smoothie Café as the newest tenant at Mayfair Shopping Center in Commack. The fast-casual restaurant concept will occupy 1,280 square feet, according to Levin Management, exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 222,000-square-foot property.

Levin’s leasing representative Shanon McAlister negotiated the long-term lease.

Tropical Smoothie Café is known for its better-for-you food and smoothies with a tropical twist. In addition to its signature fresh fruit smoothies, other healthful menu items include wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads and salads. There currently are more than 450 Tropical Smoothie Café franchise locations in 35 states.

Well located directly on the heavily traveled Jericho Turnpike just east of the Sunken Meadow Parkway, Mayfair Shopping Center serves a growing residential population of more than 200,000 people within a five-mile radius. The marketplace offers an average household income of more than $120,000, and the daily traffic count exceeds 29,000 vehicles.
