Armouth International Inc. Inks Lease at Rutgers Industrial Center in Piscataway, N.J.

Apparel Firm to Occupy 110,000 SF at Levin-Managed Industrial/Warehouse Complex

PISCATAWAY, N.J., Aug. 5, 2016 – Apparel and fashion company Armouth International Inc. has signed a 110,000-square-foot, full-building industrial lease at 170 Circle Drive North in Piscataway. The building is part of Rutgers Industrial Center, a five-building, 535,000-square-foot industrial/warehouse complex managed by commercial real estate services firm Levin Management of North Plainfield, N.J.

Headquartered in New York, Armouth International – a wholesale distributor of discount apparel – is relocating to 170 Circle Drive North from Linden, N.J., according to Robert Carson, Levin’s executive vice president. Chuck Fern of Cushman & Wakefield served as landlord broker in negotiating the long-term transaction, which brings the complex to 100 percent occupancy.

“Armouth International anticipates significant growth over the next few years,” Carson noted. “Not only did the company’s existing space have some logistical challenges, it was sharing the building with other warehouse tenants. The move to 170 Circle Drive North gives Armouth International its own building with room to expand and grow over time, along with abundant on-site parking and superior highway access. Recent property improvements, including a complete renovation of the building’s offices and employee areas, are added advantages.”

Rutgers Industrial Center is located in the heart of Middlesex County, easily accessible to I-287 and just five miles from Exit 10 of the New Jersey Turnpike. Newark Liberty International Airport, New York City and Philadelphia all are nearby.
