Levin Inks 4,000-SF Lease with Morals Village Hot Pot

FRANKLIN TWP., N.J., April 25, 2017 – Asian hot pot restaurant Morals Village Hot Pot has leased 4,000 square feet at Rutgers Plaza in Franklin Township, becoming the latest dining tenant to join the Somserset County shopping center’s lineup. Levin Management Corporation (LMC), headquartered in North Plainfield, N.J., is exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 266,000-square-foot center.

“Rutgers Plaza has consistently attracted a strong, diversified tenant base, and our newest addition – Morals Village Hot Pot – is no exception,” said LMC’s Leasing Representative Jordan Korris, who negotiated the long-term lease. “This unique shared dining experience represents an exciting new amenity for the center and a fresh new dining concept for local restaurant-goers. We are confident that Morals Village Hot Pot will broaden Rutgers Plaza’s appeal.”

Morals Village Hot Pot offers patrons a hands-on, interactive dining experience that showcases traditional Szechuan flavors. With a hot pot of simmering broth as each table’s centerpiece, restaurant-goers dip several different types of raw ingredients into the hot pot, cooking, eating and socializing with the group at the table.

In addition to a 74,000-square-foot Stop & Shop and newly opened, 29,000-square-foot Crunch Fitness location, Rutgers Plaza features a complementary lineup of national and regional tenants including Kmart, Dollar Tree, Burger King, GameStop, Chase Bank, Plaza Cleaners, soon-to-open T-Mobile, GNC and Venus Jewelers, among others. Situated on Easton Avenue at Kennedy Boulevard, Rutgers Plaza serves a growing residential population estimated at more than 265,000 people within a five-mile radius.
