Tea Kettle Gourmet Café Coming to Westbrook Outlets in Westbrook, Conn.

New Healthy Eatery to Expand Dining Options at Open-Air Retail Center

WESTBROOK, Conn., July 26, 2018 – Tea Kettle Gourmet Café has signed a lease at Westbrook Outlets in Westbrook, introducing a new dining option at the 290,000-square-foot open-air outlet mall. Commercial real estate services firm Levin Management Corporation (LMC) secured the new commitment as the property’s exclusive leasing and managing agent.

Owner and Chef David A. Ciastko – a local entrepreneur and owner of Impressive Catering Service’s LLC, The Tea Kettle Restaurant and Tea Kettle Gourmet To Go – is expanding his popular food service business with the opening of Tea Kettle Gourmet Café at Westbrook Outlets. The café is currently being fit-out and will feature a fresh, earthy décor with free WiFi and two TVs. Indoors, patrons can choose from bar-style, counter or window seating, with plenty of outside dining space as well.

This fresh gourmet eatery will offer deli-style and panini sandwiches with organic sprouted breads and assorted wraps; organic gourmet salads; and fresh-baked muffins, coffee cakes, locally sourced bagels, donuts and assorted desserts. The eatery will also include some of Ciastko’s famous paleo, organic and gluten-free style recipes. Tea Kettle Gourmet Café will feature made-to-order smoothies with fruit, protein, matcha tea or spiced chai. A locally sourced beverage bar will serve organic coffees, teas and iced tea, as well as infused waters. Popular soft drinks and beverages will round out the café’s offerings.

Tea Kettle Gourmet Café is a great example of the diverse options we are working to incorporate here for our patrons.”

Located at 314 Flat Rock Place at Exit 65 of I-95, Westbrook Outlets features dozens of brand-name retailers spanning a range of categories including accessories and jewelry; men’s, women’s and children’s apparel; footwear; housewares and home furnishings; and specialty retail. High-profile tenants include H&M, Bass Factory Outlet, J. Crew/Crewcuts, Hollister, Justice, LOFT Outlet and Williams-Sonoma Outlet, among many others. The mall also includes the 12-screen Marquee Westbrook Cinemas.

Westbrook Outlets draws from a wide regional consumer base, serving a residential population of more than 293,000 people, with an average household income over $100,000, within a 20-mile radius. The daytime population adds about 145,000 people to the property’s service area. Approximately 70,000 vehicles per day pass the center on I-95.

Remaining availabilities at Westbrook Outlets range from 938 square feet up to 9,100 square feet. Additionally, several free-standing development outparcels surrounding the retail complex are available for hotel, restaurant and entertainment uses.
