Frutta Bowls to Join Flemington Marketplace in Flemington, N.J.

Healthy Fast-Casual Chain Leases 2,375 SF at Levin-Managed Center

FLEMINGTON, N.J., Aug. 7, 2018 – Frutta Bowls, a Freehold, N.J.-based restaurant chain specializing in natural and nutritious bowls and smoothies, is coming to Flemington Marketplace in Flemington, announced Levin Management Corporation (LMC). The fast-casual franchise leased 2,375 square feet at the 240,000-square-foot open-air shopping center.

LMC serves as exclusive managing and leasing agent for Flemington Marketplace. “Increasingly, on-the-go consumers are looking for freshly prepared meals that are healthy, flavorful and high in quality,” said LMC Senior Leasing Representative Andrea Kyriacou, who arranged the lease. “Frutta Bowls is one of the fastest-growing bowl-food franchises, and there’s nothing quite like the concept in this market area. We are excited to introduce this popular chain to the community.”

Frutta Bowls, represented by Seth Katz of Legacy Commercial Realty in the Flemington Marketplace lease, offers natural acai, pitaya, kale and oatmeal bowls – topped with fruit, granola, and a choice of other toppings. Other menu items include blended-to-order smoothies and a variety of better-for-you snacks. The business was born in 2016 after founder Brooke Gagliano, while visiting California, was introduced to the acai berry, which forms the foundation for most of Frutta Bowls’ menu offerings. With more than 20 shops now in operation along the East Coast, Frutta Bowls plans to open dozens of additional locations this year.

Frutta Bowls joins a roster of well-established retailers at Flemington Marketplace, including anchor tenants Burlington Coat Factory, Kohl’s, Michaels and ALDI. The center’s co-tenancy also includes Chili’s, Panera Bread, Verizon Wireless, Hallmark and Cold Stone Creamery. Flemington Marketplace is conveniently situated on Route 202 near the Flemington Circle, which boasts a daily traffic count of approximately 46,000 vehicles.
