ZOOM TAN TO OPEN AT LIBERTY CENTER II

Tanning Chain to Occupy 1,559 Square Feet at Levin–Managed Center

ERIE, PA., July 22, 2013 – Commercial indoor tanning has grown substantially over the last 25 years and today is one of the fastest–growing businesses across the United States, according to the American Tanning Institute. Zoom Tan illustrates this trend, recently leasing 1,559 square feet at Liberty Center IIin Erie, Pa., announced Levin Management, exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 7,443–square–foot shopping center.

Levin’s leasing representative Jordan Korris negotiated the long–term lease, which will bring retail occupancy at the center to 100 percent. Scott Burdett of Flaum Management Co. Inc. served as the tenant’s broker in the transaction.

With more than 50 locations in Florida, Pennsylvania and New York, Zoom Tan provides affordable UV and spray tanning services in a clean and professional environment. Zoom Tan is one of the nation’s fastest–growing tanning salon chains and will open its doors at Liberty Center II this fall.

“Zoom Tan is a great addition to our existing mix of service–oriented businesses at Liberty Center II,” said Korris. “The chain has been rapidly expanding its presence throughout Upstate New York and now into Pennsylvania. Liberty Center II represents a key market for the brand’s continued growth.”

Situated at the intersection of West 38th and Peach Streets, Liberty Center II is located in the residential heart of Erie, Pa. In proximity to Routes 19 and 20, and I–79 and I–90, the center boasts a five–mile population of more than 156,188, a daily traffic count of more than 25,000 vehicles, and five–mile average median household income of $42,032. Other tenants include The UPS Store and Famous Hair.

Directly across the street from Liberty Center II is Liberty Center, a 227,000–square–foot neighborhood shopping destination anchored by Top’s Markets and Peebles department store. Liberty Center’s national and regional tenants include Radio Shack, Payless Shoes, Harbor Freight Tools, Dollar Tree and GNC.

World of Sleep, a mattress and bedroom furniture superstore, recently renewed its 6,723–square–foot lease at Liberty Center. Space currently is available ranging from 1,290 square feet to 14,140 square feet.
