Comcast Xfinity Set to Join Lineup at St. Georges Crossing in Woodbridge, N.J.

Prototype Store at Levin-Managed Center will Feature Interactive, Tech-Focused Environment

WOODBRIDGE, N.J., July 10, 2018 – Comcast has leased 4,000 square feet and will open an Xfinity retail store at St. Georges Crossing in Woodbridge, becoming the latest in a diverse lineup of retailers at this Middlesex County shopping destination. The announcement was made by Levin Management Corporation (LMC), exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 343,000-square-foot center, which sits at the intersection of heavily traveled Route 1 & 9 and Route 35.

LMC Leasing Representative E.J. Moawad, who arranged the lease, noted that the St. Georges Crossing Xfinity location will be a new prototype store for the cable, entertainment and communications giant – one designed to raise the bar on the brand’s customer service experience. Jay Miller of CBRE represented the tenant in the transaction.

The Xfinity store will front on Route 1, occupying part of a free-standing former Bertucci’s restaurant building. The new store will offer interactive spaces where customers can explore a range of products and services in a technology-focused environment. “We continue to enhance St. Georges Crossing with household-name tenants that reinforce its competitive market position,” Moawad said. “The outparcel site where this prototype store will be located will be fully renovated inside and out. It offers exposure, access and visibility that is second to none, which played a significant role in attracting Comcast.”

Anchored by ShopRite and P.C. Richard & Son, St. Georges Crossing is home to a strong mix of retail, restaurant and service tenants. This includes several significant additions in recent years, namely T.J.Maxx, West Marine and blu alehouse. St. Georges Crossing also features PetSmart, Pier 1 Imports, AutoZone, Verizon Wireless, House of Wine & Liquor, European Wax Center, Visionworks, Taco Bell and GameStop, among others. The center is supported by a population of more than 356,000 people and an additional daytime population of 154,000 within a five-mile radius. The daily traffic count passing the property exceeds 100,000 vehicles.

One divisible, 3,700-square-foot retail space – the balance of the renovated free-standing building in which the Xfinity store will be located – remains available at St. Georges Crossing.

For more than 65 years, LMC has served as a trusted single-source commercial real estate services provider for institutional and private owners. The firm today maintains a diversified, retail-focused portfolio of approximately 100 properties totaling 14 million square feet in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states, offering leasing, property management, financial management and reporting, construction and development, lease administration, marketing services, and acquisition and disposition consulting services. LMC’s capabilities continue to evolve with new technologies, efficiencies and sustainability-focused initiatives to serve a new generation of properties, investors and tenants.
