In the current retail climate, backfilling an anchor space may require a different approach than in the past. In the case of a free-standing former Acme supermarket at 176 E. Main Street in Manasquan, Levin orchestrated a full-building lease with CVS Pharmacy. This strategic play catalyzed the transformation of this aging property for its next-generation use.
CVS Pharmacy redesigned its new 19,600-square-foot building as a state-of-the-art location with double drive-through and grocery element. The project also included interior renovation as well as capital improvements to the property and building. LMC secured land use approvals for the project, and its in-house construction team spearheaded roofing updates and site work, including paving and landscaping. The new CVS opened early November in 2023.
