Beauty Supply Chain Commits to 9,000 SF at Falls Church, Va., Shopping Center
Beauty supply store KC Beauty has leased 9,000 square feet at Crossroads Place, marking a fifth location for the popular regional chain and representing a new retail tenant category for the Falls Church shopping center.
Levin Management Corporation (LMC) serves as exclusive managing agent for the 346,000-square-foot Crossroads Place, located at the heavily traveled intersection of Leesburg Pike and South Jefferson Street. Melissa Webb of Rappaport represented LMC in this transaction and arranged the long-term lease; Rappaport’s Michael Kang served as tenant broker.
KC Beauty opened its first store in 2000 and provides a wide selection of quality hair care and beauty products, including wigs/hair extensions, nail care items, cosmetics, jewelry and more. The Crossroads Place location will join existing stores in Alexandria and Lorton, Va., and Hanover and Takoma Park, Md.
“Crossroads Place is a very well-shopped center in a high-demand marketplace,” Webb said. “KC Beauty will be a great complement to its fantastic mix of retail, service and restaurant tenants, and further solidify the center’s reputation as the area’s premier ‘one-stop shopping’ destination.”
Anchored by a Giant food store, Burlington Stores, HomeGoods and T.J. Maxx, Crossroads Place also features Cost Plus World Market, Mattress Warehouse, Advance Auto, PNC Bank, Quickway Japanese Hibachi, Longhorn Steakhouse, Chipotle, Golden Buffet, Einstein Bagels, Starbucks and The Olive Garden, along with neighborhood conveniences such as a nail salon, liquor store and optometrist.
Crossroads Place serves a growing residential population of more than 600,000 people within a five-mile radius. The marketplace offers an average household income of more than $143,000, and the traffic count on Leesburg Pike is about 38,000 vehicles per day.
