Levin Management Arranges 7,000-SF Lease at North Brunswick, N.J., Property
Mattress Warehouse is opening its first Middlesex County location at North Village Shopping Center on Route 1 in North Brunswick, announced Levin Management Corporation (LMC), exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 124,000-square-foot property.
LMC Leasing Representative Ed Vasconcellos III arranged the 7,000-square-foot, long-term lease on behalf of the property’s ownership. Gary Leone of CBRE represented the tenant.
“Mattress Warehouse had been pursuing a Route 1 location for quite some time,” said Vasconcellos. “North Village Shopping Center enjoys a tremendous amount of traffic on Route 1 with more than 100,000 cars passing the property every day. Its location also makes it easily accessible to nearby neighborhoods and Route 130.”
Mattress Warehouse opened its first store in 1989 in Fredrick, Md. The national retailer carries a variety of mattress models as well as a wide range of sleep accessories, pillows, sheets, mattress protectors, bed frames, platform beds and more.
North Village Shopping Center is anchored by Trader Joe’s, Bed Bath & Beyond and Michaels Arts & Crafts. Other tenants at the property include Wu’s Shanghai Dumpling House (coming soon), Staples, Ulta Beauty, Panera Bread, Smashburger, Chili’s and Lux Nails. North Village Shopping Center occupies a prime location on a main thoroughfare. The center serves a growing residential population of more than 260,000 people within a five-mile radius.
