As consumer demand changes, shopping centers must follow suit. In some cases, next-chapter success is about creating new opportunities. The 343,000-square-foot, ShopRite-anchored St. Georges Crossing in Woodbridge, NJ has long been dominant in its trade area. And the 100% leased center is a great illustration of how Levin’s integrated services rework properties and elevate the shopping experience.
Levin renovated a free-standing outparcel building (formerly occupied by a Bertucci’s restaurant) and leased the space to three new tenants: a Comcast Xfinity retail store, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and Jersey Mike’s subs. Then, following a lease with Ulta Beauty, Levin’s in-house construction management team oversaw the core and shell renovation of the space – formerly occupied by Pier 1 Imports – as well as a façade refresh.
