Levin Management Arranges 3,000-SF Lease with Leading Optical Retailer
Leading optical retailer LensCrafters will join the tenant roster at High Pointe Commons, becoming the latest national brand to lease space at the 325,000-square-foot Harrisburg shopping center. The lease signing extends a period of steady transactional activity at High Pointe Commons, following recent commitments by Five Below, cookie shop Crumbl and hobby store Warhammer.
Commercial real estate services firm Levin Management Corporation (LMC) serves as exclusive leasing and managing agent for High Pointe Commons. Fred Younkin, LMC leasing representative, arranged the 3,000-square-foot commitment on behalf of property ownership; Gil Morse of Aardvark Property Group represented the tenant.
Offering high-quality eyecare and eyewear, LensCrafters is owned by Essilor Luxottica Group and currently operates more than 1,000 stores in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. LensCrafters is relocating to High Pointe Commons from a nearby mall location, according to Younkin.
“Healthcare concepts that combine medical use with a retail component are excellent traffic drivers and contribute significantly to a retail property’s ‘destination’ atmosphere,” he said. “LensCrafters represents another quality addition to High Pointe Commons, and we are pleased to accommodate their space needs at this high-demand property.”
These tenants join shadow anchors Target and JCPenney, along with Petco, Famous Footwear, Orangetheory Fitness, Verizon Wireless, Fleet Feet, FedEx, Sally Beauty Supply, GameStop, GNC, HairCuttery and Sugaring NYC, among others. High Pointe Commons’ robust dining mix features Chili’s, Friendly’s, Panera Bread, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Five Guys, Teriyaki Madness, Tropical Smoothie Café,Subway and a pizzeria.
Situated off highly trafficked I-283 at Exit 2, High Pointe Commons serves a residential population of more than 163,500 people within a five-mile radius and a daytime population of 127,000 within those same five miles. The property draws 3.1 million visitors per year, according to real-time traffic data from Placer.ai.
LMC currently is marketing a 35,000-square-foot anchor space in a freestanding building (former ChristmasTree Shops) and a 1,600-square-foot in-line space at High Pointe Commons.
