The MAX Challenge Joins Tenant Roster at Blue Star Shopping Center in Watchung, N.J.

Levin Arranges 3,000 SF Lease with Growing Fitness Concept

WATCHUNG, N.J., July 17, 2017 – The MAX Challenge will join the tenant roster at Blue Star Shopping Center in Watchung, announced Levin Management Corporation (LMC), the property’s exclusive managing and leasing agent. A franchisee for the growing fitness concept has leased 3,000 square feet at the 419,000-square-foot property.

LMC Leasing Representative E.J. Moawad negotiated the lease on behalf of Blue Star Shopping Center. Sitar’s Joe AmecAngelo, who was with RJ Brunelli at the time of the lease signing, served as tenant broker in the transaction.

The MAX Challenge is a 10-week body renewal system designed to help members make fast and lasting changes to their health, appearance and fitness levels. The MAX Challenge members achieve results through a combination of nutritional counseling, fitness classes, and motivation provided by trained MAX Challenge instructors.

Blue Star Shopping Center’s prominent Somerset County location, excellent visibility and daily consumer traffic, along with strong regional demographics, proved particularly attractive to this franchise owner, according to Moawad. “The MAX Challenge offers one of the most dynamic fitness experiences in the industry today, and we are excited to bring this popular and growing concept to Blue Star Shopping Center,” he said. “Fitness represents a new category for this property. The MAX Challenge is an ideal complement to our tenant base and will be great resource for those who live and work in the community.”
