Nutrition 215 Coming to Morrell Plaza in Philadelphia
Addition Boosts Health-Friendly Offerings, Underscores Steady Leasing at Levin-Managed Property
PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 22, 2020 – Nutrition 215 will join the retail tenant roster at Morrell Plaza in Philadelphia. Commercial real estate services firm Levin Management Corporation (LMC) serves as exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 103,000-square-foot shopping center located directly on Frankford Avenue/Route 13.
Nutrition 215 will sell blended nutritional non-alcoholic drinks including energy tea and protein-based coffee. The drinks are designed to give health-conscious consumers a variety of options, whether meal replacements or post-workout snacks, according to Owner Alexander Rodriguez. The store will have lounge seating and WiFi.
“It will be a positive, relaxing environment,” Rodriguez said. “I am excited to bring Nutrition 215 to Morrell Plaza. The center is accessible and well maintained, which was attractive to me as a business owner. In addition to being in a densely populated neighborhood, its location near area hospitals, colleges and universities will enable us to draw customers from those institutions as well.”
LMC Senior Leasing Representative Sidney Singer arranged the 1,200-square-foot Nutrition 215 lease. “This business has been growing from a home-based office, and Alexander chose Morrell Plaza as the first of what he expects will be several ‘bricks and mortar’ locations,” said Singer. “The store will bring a customer base focused on nutrition and wellness to the center and complements a co-tenancy that includes other health-focused tenants such as Rite Aid and our newest addition, indoor cycling concept Northeast Cycle.”
Nutrition 215 and Northeast Cycle are among several new tenants to commit to the property in recent months. Other upcoming additions include national chicken wing chain Wingstop and Freedom Credit Union. Morrell Plaza is anchored by a 63,000-square-foot high-volume ShopRite supermarket. The tenant roster includes a mix of national, regional and local retailers and service providers including T-Mobile, Supercuts, Dunkin’ and Yamato Sushi & Hibachi, among others. The property serves a three-mile residential population of more than 134,000 people, and a daytime population of 51,000 within those same three miles.
Space availabilities at Morrell Plaza range from 1,200 to 4,000 square feet.
