Ed Vasconcellos III Joins Levin Management as Leasing Representative

Appointment Comes Amid Organizational Growth for North Plainfield, N.J., Firm

NORTH PLAINFIELD, N.J., Feb. 5, 2021 – Ed Vasconcellos III of Rahway, N.J., has joined North Plainfield-based Levin Management Corporation (LMC) as a leasing representative. The appointment comes during a period of organizational growth for the commercial real estate services firm, which maintains a leasing and management portfolio currently including 110 properties and totaling nearly 15.5 million square feet.

In his new role, Vasconcellos is responsible for leasing and marketing efforts at seven open-air retail properties in New Jersey: Bordentown Plaza in Bordentown, Hamilton Plaza in Hamilton, North Village Shopping Center in North Brunswick, Middlesex Plaza in Middlesex, Paramus Place in Paramus, West Orange Plaza in West Orange and Rutgers Plaza in Somerset.

“Joining Levin Management is an incredible career opportunity,” said Vasconcellos. “Open-air centers – which house essential retail categories like grocery, dining, and home improvement – are among the strongest asset classes today and have proven resilient in every economic climate. These centers comprise the bulk of LMC’s portfolio, which gives this company a distinctive position in the marketplace. I am looking forward to being part of this dynamic firm’s continued success.”

Prior to joining LMC, Vasconcellos was a leasing representative at Brookfield Properties. He previously held positions at The Dartmouth Company and Robert K. Futterman & Associates. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, and holds membership in the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute. Vasconcellos also is a licensed New Jersey real estate salesperson.

“We are pleased to welcome Ed to Levin Management,” said Sidney Singer, LMC’s vice president of leasing. “As we continue to grow our award-winning leasing and management portfolio, Ed’s wealth of talent, energy and industry knowledge further strengthens our leasing team. His well-rounded experience will be of significant benefit to our clients and their shopping centers.”

For nearly seven decades, LMC has served as a trusted single-source commercial real estate services provider for institutional and private owners. The company today maintains a diversified, retail-focused portfolio – including a notable proportion of grocery-anchored shopping centers, as well as industrial and office assets.

LMC helps its clients operate properties and create case-specific solutions to protect and improve value; it has distinguished itself as a firm large enough to excel in assignments of any scale while continuing to employ a hands-on, proprietary approach in every facet of its business. The firm offers leasing, property management, financial management and reporting, construction management and development, lease administration, marketing services, and acquisition and disposition consulting services. LMC’s capabilities continue to evolve with new technologies, efficiencies and sustainability-focused initiatives to serve a new generation of properties, investors and tenants.
