Levin Management Announces Key Promotions, New Hires to Launch 2016

Retail Real Estate Services Firm Well Positioned for Continued Growth

NORTH PLAINFIELD, N.J., Feb. 24, 2016 – Levin Management, one of the nation’s leading retail real estate services firms, has announced a series of strategic staff promotions and new hires to support continued growth and expansion in 2016. Levin maintains a diverse 95-property, 13 million-square-foot shopping center portfolio in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Massachusetts and North Carolina.

“This is an exciting time for our company,” noted Levin’s Matthew K. Harding, president. “We ended 2015 on a very positive note, and expect this momentum to continue throughout 2016. Our internal promotions and new staff additions ensure that we will consistently meet, and exceed, client expectations as we strengthen Levin’s presence in key markets throughout the Northeast.”

On the executive level, Joseph Lowry, formerly vice president of acquisitions and business development, has been promoted to senior vice president of leasing and acquisitions. In his expanded role, Lowry – a 25-year industry veteran who joined the company in 2009 – will assume leadership of Levin’s leasing department while continuing to oversee the company’s new business development and acquisitions efforts.

Several changes were announced in the accounting and lease administration department as well. Paul Tavaglione was promoted to the newly created position of deputy chief financial officer. Tavaglione joined Levin in 2001 as controller, and in his new role will provide additional expertise and assistance to the accounting and lease administration departments. Paul will continue to report to Tim DeCola, the firm’s chief financial officer.

The department also expanded with the addition of Jeff Sinacore as Levin’s new controller. A financial services professional with more than 30 years of experience, Sinacore will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining Levin’s systems of internal quality control. Joanne Grossman joined the team as lease administrator, bringing related experience from a former position with A&P.

Levin has also augmented its marketing staff. Sheri Bhirdo was promoted, from leasing department administrator to marketing and business development coordinator/analyst. In this position, Bhirdo, who joined the team in 2015, will actively support Levin’s expanding marketing and business development activity.

“At Levin, we strongly believe in recognizing and rewarding the outstanding performance of our staff, and in recruiting top talent to meet our strategic growth needs,” said Matthew K. Harding, president of Levin Management. “Joe, Paul, Jeff, Sheri and Joanne are all accomplished team players and great examples of the dedicated, high-caliber professionals who are moving our company forward.”

In business for more than six decades, Levin is one of the nation's leading retail real estate services firms. The company has consistently grown its portfolio and internal resources, responding to a variety of retail and economic climates. The firm’s services today include leasing, property management, accounting, construction management and marketing.
