Levin Management Promotes Sidney Singer to Vice President of Leasing
Appointment Recognizes Outstanding Contributions to Commercial Real Estate Services Firm
NORTH PLAINFIELD, N.J., May 27, 2020 – Sidney Singer has been promoted to vice president of leasing at Levin Management Corporation (LMC), announced Matthew K. Harding, chief executive officer of the North Plainfield-based commercial real estate services firm. The Perkasie, Pa., resident joined LMC as a senior leasing representative in 2018.
In his new role, Singer is overseeing the firm’s leasing team and working directly with clients to develop and implement leasing strategies for their properties. “I am honored to take on this new role at Levin Management,” he said. “I look forward to continuing my established relationships within the retail and brokerage communities and building new connections as we navigate through the new realities facing our industry. LMC is a company that emphasizes collaboration and professional growth. I am excited for the opportunity to work more closely with our successful and talented leasing team, and other department heads to grow our firm and serve clients.”
Singer has been a stand-out leasing professional during his tenure with LMC. He has arranged leases with national tenants such as Panera Bread, Smoothie King, Great Clips, Teriyaki Madness and others. He also has played a leading role in strategically retenanting properties. Recently, this includes arranging approximately 12,000 square feet of transactions at Morrell Plaza in Philadelphia, including commitments by Wingstop, Freedom Credit Union, Northeast Cycle, Kids Kingdom Playhouse and Charlie’s Original Pizza, all of which have bolstered that center’s leading position in its marketplace.
Singer has more than 14 years of retail real estate industry experience in both leasing and property management operations. Prior to joining LMC, he was a commercial leasing manager at Edgewood Properties Inc./M&M Realty Partners in Piscataway, N.J. Singer also previously owned a successful retail business, which he grew to 15 locations, providing him with a distinctive perspective when it comes to understanding tenant needs and helping both new and expanding retailers navigate the leasing process. Singer is a licensed real estate salesperson in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and holds membership in the International Council of Shopping Centers.
“Sid is a consummate professional and well-respected throughout our industry,” said Harding. “Since joining LMC, he has been a key part of our leasing team and a tremendous asset for our clients and tenants. At LMC, we strongly believe in recognizing and rewarding the outstanding performance of our staff, and we congratulate him on this well-deserved promotion.”
For nearly seven decades, LMC has served as a trusted single-source commercial real estate services provider for institutional and private owners. The company today maintains a diversified, retail-focused portfolio of nearly 110 properties and totaling almost 15.5 million square feet in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states – including a notable proportion of grocery-anchored centers.
LMC helps its clients operate properties and create case-specific solutions to protect and improve asset value; it has distinguished itself as a firm large enough to excel in assignments of any scale while continuing to employ a hands-on, proprietary approach in every facet of its business. The firm offers leasing, property management, financial management and reporting, construction management and development, lease administration, marketing services, and acquisition and disposition consulting services. LMC’s capabilities continue to evolve with new technologies, efficiencies and sustainability-focused initiatives to serve a new generation of properties, investors and tenants.
