Levin Management Arranges Health and Wellness-Concept Lease
Bensalem Nutrition will join the retail tenant roster at Centre Plaza in Bensalem. Commercial real estate services firm Levin Management Corporation (LMC) serves as exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 44,000-square-foot shopping center located on Galloway Road; Leasing Representative Fred Younkin arranged the 1,700-square-foot lease.
Bensalem Nutrition will sell delicious blended nutritional non-alcoholic drinks including energy-boosted tea made with natural herbs and protein-based coffees. The drinks are designed to give health-conscious consumers a variety of options, whether as meal replacements or a post-workout snack, according to Timothy Dunbar, owner.
The store will have counter seating along with intimate gathering spaces and spots to work remotely. Protein donuts and waffles will be available monthly in conjunction with customer appreciation events.
“It will be a very positive, relaxing and happy environment,” Dunbar said. “I am excited to bring Bensalem Nutrition to Centre Plaza. The location is accessible and well maintained, which was attractive to me as a business owner. Its proximity to area public schools, including Bensalem High School, is a real plus for drawing customers as well.”
Health and wellness concepts are active players in today’s retail landscape and strong traffic drivers for shopping centers like Centre Plaza, according to Younkin. “Bensalem Nutrition represents a new retail category at Centre Plaza that will broaden the property’s appeal and attract a customer base focused on nutrition and wellness,” he said. “We are pleased to bring this business to our existing shoppers and the Bensalem community at large.”
Located in Bucks County’s largest municipality, Centre Plaza is ideally positioned as a service-oriented neighborhood shopping center. The tenant roster also includes Slim’s Irish Pub, Penn Community Bank, A&S Bagels, Salon 724, M. Rani Eyebrow Threading & Spa, Kathy’s School of Dance, MichKutz barbershop, Team Sports Zone, Tako Japanese Restaurant, El Limon Mexican Taqueria and LabCorp, among others. The property serves a residential population of 99,000 people within a three-mile radius.
