Levin Arranges New Lease with Established Childcare Provider
Childcare provider Chunky Cheeks Kollege Too is coming to Morrell Plaza on Frankford Avenue/Route 13 in Northeast Philadelphia, expanding its footprint in the region and bringing a valuable new service to the neighborhood. Commercial real estate services firm Levin Management Corporation (LMC) serves as exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 103,000-square-foot shopping center.
Nicole Anderocci, LMC leasing representative, orchestrated the 5,200-square-foot transaction on behalf of property ownership. Anderocci is the latest addition to the firm’s award-winning leasing team; her extensive industry background includes both commercial real estate leasing and sales.
Owned and operated by Tenille Saunders, a local resident and experienced childcare entrepreneur, Chunky Cheeks Kollege Too currently operates five successful centers along Torresdale Avenue. The new Morrell Plaza location will offer safe and nurturing all-day care for infants and young children, along with a before-and after-school program for children up to age 13. The center will implement a creative curriculum and maintain extended hours of operation from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. to meet the needs of working families.

Our after-school program will accommodate about 30 children and help fill that critical need.”

Morrell Plaza is anchored by a 63,000-square-foot, high-volume ShopRite and features a tenant mix that includes Yamato Sushi & Hibachi, Freedom Credit Union, Wingstop, Supercuts, Dunkin’ and Mr. Wish Bubble Tea, with Al-Sham Mediterranean Restaurant coming soon. The property serves a residential population of approximately 376,000 people within a five-mile radius, with an additional daytime population of approximately 175,000. According to real-time traffic data from Placer.ai, the center attracts 1.9 million visitors per year.
LMC is currently marketing two retail space availabilities – of 1,200 and 1,855 square feet – at Morrell Plaza.
