Mr. Wish to Open New Location at Levin-Managed Shopping Center
Fruit tea and smoothie shop Mr. Wish is coming to Morrell Plaza in Philadelphia, leasing 1,200 square feet at the 103,000-square-foot shopping center on Frankford Avenue/Route 13. Levin Management Corporation (LMC) serves as the property’s exclusive leasing and managing agent; Fred Younkin, leasing representative, arranged the transaction.
Marketed as the “No. 1 fresh fruit tea beverage brand from Taiwan,” Mr. Wish was born from consumer demand for healthy tea beverages. Shops have an extensive menu of bubble teas, fruit teas, smoothies and milk teas made with all natural and fresh ingredients. The growing franchise also maintains its United States headquarters in Philadelphia.
“Mr. Wish complements Morrell Plaza’s other health-focused tenants such as Northeast Cycle and Nutrition 215, and will give consumers yet another reason to visit the shopping center,” said Younkin. “It’s also a great fit for this marketplace, which boasts exceptional demographics as well as proximity to institutes of higher education and several area hospitals.”
Morrell Plaza is anchored by a 63,000-square-foot, high-volume ShopRite supermarket. The tenant roster also includes Rite Aid, Wingstop, Freedom Credit Union, T-Mobile, Supercuts, Dunkin’ and Yamato Sushi & Hibachi, among others. The property serves a three-mile residential population of more than 137,000 people, and a daytime population of about 50,000 within those same three miles.
