Two new lease commitments at Centre Plaza in Bensalem extend a period of tenant mix transformation at the 44,000-square-foot Galloway Road retail property, according to Levin Management Corporation (LMC), exclusive leasing and managing agent. The latest leases include martial arts studio Ryan Wagner's Martial Arts & Fitness (3,400 SF) and Middle Eastern restaurant Great Indian Kitchen (3,400 SF).
LMC’s Fred Younkin, a leasing representative with the commercial real estate services firm, arranged the transactions. Mitch Gold and Jerry Ward of Gold Realty Advisors represented the tenants.
Ryan Wagner’s Martial Arts & Fitness is relocating to Centre Plaza locally. The studio teaches students of all ages and skill levels – from beginners to seasoned professionals – the traditional Korean martial arts of Tang Soo Do and Sin Moo Hapkido in a fun and modern way. “Ryan Wagner’s is a well-established martial arts studio with an outstanding reputation,” said Younkin. “It will bring an added dimension to the retail experience at Centre Plaza and draw students from nine nearby school districts – an advantage for the entire tenant base.”
Great Indian Kitchen is new business venture for its owners, who are experienced business operators. The casual Middle Eastern restaurant will provide both dine-in and catering services. “Great Indian Kitchen is a fantastic fit for this neighborhood,” said Younkin. “The restaurant adds another quality dining option to Centre Plaza – we look forward to its opening.”
These newest leases underscore a period of steady activity that has created a dynamic tenant lineup at Centre Plaza, according to Younkin. In recent months, restaurant Slim’s Irish Pub opened at the property, and LMC secured a 1,700-square-foot lease with Bensalem Nutrition (opening soon). This followed previous commitments by Kathy’s School of Dance and barbershop MichKutz. “Great things are happening at Centre Plaza,” said Younkin. “In turn, this property is securing its position as a favorite service-oriented neighborhood shopping destination.”
Located in Bucks County’s largest municipality, Centre Plaza also includes Penn Community Bank, A&S Bagels, Salon 724, M. Rani Eyebrow Threading & Spa, Team Sports Zone, Tako Japanese Restaurant, El Limon Mexican Taqueria and LabCorp, among others. The property serves a Bensalem population of about 63,000 people.
