Martial Arts Studio to Open Eighth N.J. Location at Levin-Managed Center
Martial arts studio Master Park’s Black Belt America is coming to Wall Towne Center in Manasquan, announced Levin Management Corporation (LMC), exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 100,000-square-foot, grocery-anchored retail property on Route 34. The 1,600-square-foot studio will mark the eighth location for the growing New Jersey chain.
Founded in 1989, Master Park’s Black Belt America is committed to teaching the physical skills of martial arts while applying attitude-shaping exercises aimed at bringing out the best character and physical potential in students of all ages. The organization has additional locations in Elizabeth, Englishtown, Franklin Lakes, Freehold, Marlboro, Midland Park and Wall Township.
LMC Leasing Representative Kendal Hand-Freda arranged the Master Park’s Black Belt America lease. “Wall Towne Center always has benefited from a high-traffic location and a quality, complementary tenant mix,” said Hand-Freda. “Master Park’s Black Belt America is a well-established regional martial arts studio with an outstanding reputation. It will bring an added dimension to the retail experience at the property and drive significant, repeat traffic – an advantage for Wall Towne Center’s entire tenant base.”
Earlier this year, Wall Towne Center welcomed another new tenant, Joe’s Bagel & Grill. Located at 2433-2445 Route 34, less than one quarter mile from the intersection of Route 35, the property is anchored by a 71,000-square-foot ShopRite supermarket and also includes Ocean First Bank, Cherry Blow Dry Bar, Great Clips, AT&T Wireless and Wine King, along with a strong roster of local restaurant and service providers. Wall Towne Center serves a residential population of 130,000 people within a five-mile radius. More than 34,000 vehicles pass the property each day.
